Electronics

Lab:

No Arduino code was used for this lab

There where three sections for this lab.

1) Components in Series – When the button was pressed, it allows the current to pass to the two LED’s, which are connected to each other. If one of the LED’s is taken out, the other one will not light up.

2) Components in Parallel – When the button was pressed, it allows the current to pass to the three LED’s, which are all share the same connection, but are not dependent on each other. If one of the LED’s is taken out, the other will still continue to light up.

3) Generating a Variable Voltage with a Potentiometer – The potentiometer controls the amount of voltage to send to the LED via the resistor.

Overall, I felt comfortable completing this lab. The schematics are making more sense day by day. Ideally down the road I will be able to create guitar & bass pedals with all this great stuff.
