Website: Norwegian Cruise Lines

Overall, NCL's website seems to nicely manage an overload of information. It gives the customer the idea that they are "designing their own unique vacation", when in reality they are choosing from an X amount of pre-designed itineraries. it has a nice color scheme, and relies on images to sell their products.

One of the features on their website that I admire is the "Find a Vacation" widget. It not only gives you the total amount of itineraries they offer, but allow you to specify specific parameters, and returns a generated page based on your selection. The "Total Itineraries" number is updated dynamically on the client side depending on parameters being selected. I also enjoy their "Explore Vacations" widget, which searches itineraries based on what the customer wants to do during their vacation.

Their "Sign Up" widget is also interesting. It seems to generate a floating and page centered div, while tinting the rest of the page. Customer can scroll up and down the page, but the widget does not move, and all links outside the widget seem to have been deactivated until the widget is competed or closed.

A feature that currently has caught my attention is the News Alert. It seems to be a div that is stuck on top of the flash banner, and when clicked it displays another div with news worthy information. It seems to be stuck on a specific x and y coordinate, not position:absolute.

Lastly, on their front page, I enjoy the secondary rotating links, located underneath the big flash rotating banner. When the arrow buttons are clicked, the images are nicely pushed to reveal one new image link.
